The Backstory

Who is K'lani?

Starting a small business and gaining momentum takes an incredible amount of time. You have to juggle sales, logistics, customer outreach and service, product quality, and more. With all that you have to do, does anyone in your business have the time to manage multiple inventory management platforms? For K’lani, a hair tie company, the answer was no–and it hurt their processes to have to handle more than one software. Fortunately, Luminous helped K’lani save time and effort, up to 40 hours a month. 

K'lani, created by two Utah moms, seamlessly blends style with functionality. Launched in January 2021, co-founder Monica was inspired when a conventional hair tie on her wrist sparked the idea of a hair tie bracelet that marries aesthetics with utility. This revelation led to the creation of chic hair tie bracelets designed to be both fashionable and practical.

The brand embodies a spirit of aloha, influenced by the co-founders’ Hawaiian heritage. Each bracelet in their collection serves as a stylish accessory and doubles as a hair tie. Their product range includes themes like "Explore" and "Strength," designed to inspire and empower wearers through thoughtfully chosen colors and charms.
