Step 1. Access the Purchase Order
- Navigate to the Purchase Orders page in Luminous.
- Find the PO you want to store files or information in.
- Click on the hyperlink under the Supplier column to open the detailed view of the PO.
Step 2. Attach Files to the Purchase Order
- Once inside the PO, go to the Messages tab.
- Click the Attach File button.
- Select the file you want to attach, such as a screenshot, invoice, or other relevant document.
- Confirm the attachment, and it will be stored with the PO for easy reference.
Step 3: Communicate with Team Members
- Use the Messages tab to leave notes or communicate with team members about the PO.
- Tag a team member by mentioning their name.
- They will receive a notification, ensuring everyone stays informed.
Why Use This Feature?
Cost layers can also be updated or created by:
- Transfer Orders
- When inventory is moved between warehouses, the cost layers transfer with it.
- Assembly Orders
- When raw components are combined to create a finished product:
- The system takes the cost layers of the components.
- A new cost layer is created for the finished product based on the combined costs.
